Unable to install Service Pack 2 on NetProtector 3000

Problembeschreibung
When trying to install Service Pack 2 on NetProtector 3000, the installation fails after initial file copying. The service Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (MSDTC) is unable to start since the service is disabled in Windows Server 2003 for Embedded Systems.
Problemlösung
- Go to Start | Administrative Tools | Services.
- Then choose properties for the service Distributed Transaction Coordinator and set Startup type to Automatic.
- Install Service Pack 2.
- It is recommended that you disable the service again after the Service Pack is installed.
