Clients are no longer recieving updates from the distribution server

Problem description

The lastest definition files on my clients are from 27/12-2009. After this date, the clients are no longer recieving updates.

Problem solution

The old Norman license system was disabled 1/1-2010. This has caused problems for customers that for unknown reasons are still using an old license key, and for customers that are using Novell Netware or Linux as distribution server.

If your distribution server is running Novell Netware or Linux

Download and install this patch (55Mb). The patch needs to be executed on a client with write access to the \norman\distrib\download directory on the distribution server. The NVC client must be configured to update the Distribution server (see Config Editor/Install and update products/Internet).

If your distribution server is running Windows

You are for some unknown reason using a license key that has not been converted to the new license system. Please submit your license key to your local Norman support detpartment to have it converted.
