Clients not visible in Endpoint Manager console after latest upgrade

Problem description

After a recent upgrade the Endpoint Protection clients are no longer visible in the Endpoint Manager administration console.

Problem solution

We have identified a bug causing clients in the administration console to become invisible. This will happen if one or more of the managed clients has a logged on user with special characters in the username (f.eg æ, ø, å).

The bug has been identified, and a permanent fix will be released shortly. This article will be updated as soon as the fix has been released.

Update 6 July 2010: A fix to address this issue has been released.
