NFI - Norman Forensic Investigator
In situations where Norman is not able to successfully clean an infected system, you might have been compromised by malware not currently detected by our software. In such scenarios we need samples of the undetected malware. To help collect new and undetected malware we have developed the Norman Forensic Investigator tool.
To use it, just run nfi.exe and click Start.
The tool will then collect files that might contain malware and save them to your Windows desktop as an archive file with a *.nfi extension. Submit this file to your local Norman support department for analysis.
